n00b is one of those loaded words.
It's questioning. It's judging. It's impatience in all its flavors. It's someone small and rude questioning you, judging you. Belittling you.
n00b is also fun. It's growth. It's impatience in all its flavors. It's yourself improving your craft amidst all the things you can't control and all the things coming at you.
But whether you're a n00b or a senior, I think it's important to keep this Chinese idiom in mind: 天上有天。 It's a nod towards humbleness and the learning mindset--and importantly, don't pull up the ladder for those coming up. Hold it steady. Strengthen it even1.
